Steelcase Tornado Shelters

JS Building Company constructed two on-site tornado shelters at the Steelcase facility in North Alabama as part of a safety and infrastructure upgrade. The work required integration with existing operations while meeting strict performance criteria.

Construction included reinforced concrete and steel-filled masonry walls designed to meet F5 tornado standards, with exterior finishes coordinated to match the existing facility.
