With the ongoing popularity of Melt’s Birmingham location, JS Building Co. was chosen to construct Melt’s new space in growing downtown Huntsville.

Located in the Avenue Apartment building’s lower level, this 3,600 square foot restaurant offered its own unique challenges with its limited job site access and busy downtown workspace. Careful coordination was needed when installing the roof-mounted kitchen exhaust system in the multistory building. All this while ensuring our work had minimal impact on the residents of the Avenue.

The result was another popular eating destination for Melt with a décor described by AL.com as “industrial meets rustic” with its reclaimed wood walls and its distinctive all custom bar contributing to its aesthetics.
