The owner’s goal for Commerce Kitchen, located on Huntsville’s Courthouse Square, was to create a comfortable, yet urbane dining space bordering the city’s Twickenham Historic District. The project dictated a firm holiday opening, and project managers devised an accelerated schedule that included the renovation of an existing basic space, detailed woodwork with glass and acoustic inlays, custom built-in upholstered seating, new hardwood flooring, and custom tile flooring.

Through concerted efforts of the designer and the JS Building Co. building team successfully met the owners’ schedule with no sacrifice to their ultimate quality goals.
