JS Building Co. was chosen to be the General Contractor for the new Appleton / Spur office build-out. The project was located in the Stovehouse development on the Second Floor of Building #1 in the center of the campus.

This 8,640 square foot project was unique in that it was constructed inside a building that was over 100 years old. Careful coordination was necessary to ensure that the building’s age and the challenges it presented were fully incorporated into the design and construction. Preserving the original steel structure, windows, and interior masonry elements were the owner and design teams’ specific requests. This helped produce a finished office space that values and respects the original building’s history while providing Spur with the modern feel of new office space.
