When JS Building Co. was incorporated in 2004, its principals decided these would not just be words, but guiding principles that every JS Building Co. associate would incorporate into every project we undertook. The considerable experience of its senior managers and superintendents, combined with the enthusiasm and energy of our newer associates, has helped make this goal a reality.

Quality begins in the planning phase. Our pre-construction input starts with the development of the initial quantity survey, budget, and schedule. Each of these elements is balanced with the owner’s needs (operationally, financially, and logistically), and coordinated with the capacity of the architects and their consultants. Because we recognize that construction projects are a team effort, we build quality by first building a team environment based on strong communication and excellent planning.

We follow through with open and honest communication with our clients and designers. We continually study options in materials, details, phasing, and sequencing; we then select the strongest sub and vendor support group based on open competition. Most importantly, we take pride and delight in building high-quality facilities that truly meet or exceed our clients’ expectations.

We effectively coordinate resources to reach scheduled milestones. Our experience in building projects ranging from small buildings to mid-rise projects has taught us the complexities of time management and effective planning.
